Floodland Final Project - new ending

Old Ending: After surviving on the mainland, Zoe and Munchkin decided to find Zoe’s parents that they made a journey to the Newhouse where they were told to go if they wanted to find people who came from the other islands, Norwich also. As they traveled to the Newhouse , it was quite hard for them to travel for 40 miles to get to the Newhouse but finally they found them. At first sight, Zoe was mad with her parents that they were living happily and that she almost killed many times in her srviving. But soon after hearing her father’s explanation about their surviving, She understood and lived there with Munchkin happily ever after.

New Ending

Surviving on the mainland, she was very happy about that and she didn’t know the purpose for why mainland’s people saved her. She started asking about the people who were from the other islands who came here to survive and she was cheated without realizing with the answer she was told.

She had been living there for months until she realized they cheated on her and the reason for saving her was they were going to bury her soon in their religious ceremony for their god. She found it very hard to believe and she didn’t know what to do. She wanted to tell Munchkin about that but she thought Munchkin would think she was crazy so she decided to secretly escaped alone.

Having decided, she has made her plan. In the day of ceremony , when people were very busy preparing the ceremony , she ran away from the home but unluckily there were people seeing her running. She was chased after and by the time Munchkin heard about Zoe’s escaping from the mainland, she was already been caught but Munchkin knew that Zoe would never do things without reason.

She was brought to the ceremony and there were people guarded her in order to not letting her run again. Munchkin pretended like he wasn’t on Zoe’s side and visited Zoe. He could see the reasons through her cold grey eyes. He then knew that he had to save Zoe before the ceremony started in a very soon time, a few hours later. He had his plan done by getting the people who were guarding Zoe drunk with poison in the wine . Luckily, his plan achieved and he got Zoe and they ran away together without any direction.

Running for days, they finally reached a beach where it was calm silent and seemed that no one was there . They then decided what to do , they wanted to leave the island as it was not safe as the eel islands also. But soon they saw a boat with 3 people in that, started sailing off the sea. They shouted for help , expected that the boat would come back, take them and then would leave together. Fortunately, the boat did come back to the shore but the most surprising thing was that on the boat there were her father , mother and a small cute baby. She got on the boat and hugged them for long. She was told about the things that had happened to them and she also knew that the baby was her little brother. She did not get any angry at all because at least they came back for her even it was a little bit late. Her parents asked for forgiveness from her but her only wish was to name her brother “William” so as to remind her of William which was now on the eels islands. They left the island and found the other island where there were nice and faith people living there and living happily ever after with their 5^th member ,Munchkin.
