Post of the Week

This week's highlight is Ati's snowy poem!  Isn't it nice to think of cool weather in this hot season? 

I thought he did a great job of creating the excitement and sounds of winter.  Like this:

Whoosh! Down the sledges from the snowy hills
Snowy day it was, like freezing you could feel
Splat! Hit the faces with snowballs

It was nice how he ended it with a change of seasons, so instead of snowflakes touching the ground, now it's melting snow:

Tok Tok Tok, touching the ground one by one
Came the drops of the snow melt

I appreciate that he was ambitious in trying something new and challenging. Ati, I hope you work on this some more and then share it with more people!

Congrats to everyone for some really enjoyable onomatopoeia posts!  You should all be proud of how much you are writing!!
