2 Children Row to the Mainland

A 10 years old girl and an 8 years old have made a remarkably incredible success of getting to the mainland, through sea, just in a tiny derelict rowing boat. The girl, Zoe Black and her travel companion, Munchkin Porter landed in Hope and met Zoe 's parents, Mr.and Mrs. Black, in Newhome community about a week ago and now live as a family.

Therefore, an exclusive interview was brought up yesterday with Zoe and Munchkin by British Media Group in the Black's small cottage in the purpose to get everyone their true story of surviving .

"It was about a year ago when I got separated from my parents in Norwich.", answered Zoe to our first question. Since she was left behind, she kept on moving around the ruined town, especially, at the remains of warehouses until she luckily spotted the rowing boat with oars, only fit for 2 people. Zoe continued that she made her escape from the sinking land after being chased by people who were also begging for her to take them them with her. She didin't go back but went on rowing till she arrived on the called "Eel island" where she met Munchkin.

"Zoe was thought to be a spy from another tribe and was about to be killed but because of her boat, the ex-leader, Dooby decided not to.", said Munchkin as the interview was in progress. But their time there on the isle didn't last long when a deadly clash occurred. They were never expected to escape together. Zoe wanted an old man, who was said to have been her greatest helper, to go with her while she was wanted by Dooby for the second escape. "William refused so I think I 'll have to leave for my life"said Zoe. As she and Dooby were missing from the crowd during the clash, Munchkin and another boy,Spat who both knew where the boat was chased them. Dooby was distracted by the fight he was having with Spat. Seeing this, Munchkin swam to the boat and rowed away with Zoe.

Zoe added that the second escape was another situation of frustration and fear. They kept on rowing until they were swept away from the boat by a big sea storm and nearly died because of drowning. Fortunately, fishermen from Hope saved them and brought them to the hospital. Arriving on the mainland with relief, they continued their search for Zoe's parents who were believed to be in Newhome. "It was a tiring 2 days walk with not knowing where we were going but wishing for the help of God.",exclaimed Munchkin. They finally found Mr. and Mrs. Black by the help of a woman, Mrs. Clifrance. Their quest was finished with a successful result.

My magical pencil

An automatic purple with an easy grip for holding without hurting my fingers when I am writing essay or doing homework is my pencil. It is a very useful thing for me when I'm in an important situation. Examination is the thing that I must do the best to get good score.So I always use it.
I noticed that when I used my pencil during examination , I always passed my exam. I feel happy that I have this lucky pencil.I bought it perhaps 2 years ago in the bookshop.However, everybody thinks that it is expensive. But for me it's not because a useful pencil that can help me when I need help is important than everything.
If we have good score in an exam, we go to higher level. The graduation day comes we can see the good result of our ability.Finding a job is thing that people must do to support their living everyday. So it means that a small pencil can also help us to find a bright future.Pencil is a friend that every students bring it to school with them in order to help all the students to do anything that they want.
As I am a student that I have a good pencil with me every time and everywhere. I would like to advise all of you that you should buy a pencil that you really like to travel with you wherever.

New audition of 'It's me, Mickey'

We've written alot of blogs and there must be a favorite piece. For me "It's me, Mickey" is my favorite one because it tells most of the things that people need to know about me. This is my improvement and I would like to show it to everyone. I've already tried three times for this only one topic. I really have no clue how to make it improved. Can you tell me?

The word "Mickey" actually means nothing to me and I'm here today to tell you the good and the bad side of me. But first let me ask, do you really know about yourself or you only THINK you know about yourself?

Let's start from the good side of me! I have alot of names, may be more than anyonelse. At my Khmer school everyone call me Kid, in English class people know me by the name Mickey, i don't have much friend so i started to play alot of online game and people call me Snow and my real name isn't anything above; so it means that you free to call me anything you prefer. I think I'm open, I'm talkative to the person that I like and people say that I'm childish. I prefer to stay at home and play games instead of hanging out with my friends outside because I think it a waste of money but sometime I never wants to come home because of my home is not a complete home for anyone and I prefer to keep this privately; sorry for that! I love to make friends and most of the time I think positively about the world.

But on the other hand, I can't get a hold of my feeling and I don't know why too; if you don't understand let me explain. For examples, today I tell you I love spaghetti but tomorrow may be I'll say I love pasta. Most of the time, I want to be a cold-hearted person, I don't even smile to my friends. More than that, I don't get along so well with new friends and made them think I'm arrogant. I don't talk much to strangers and even people that not so close to me. It's not a shy feeling that I have it's just like...I don't know them by heart.

And that's it you need to know about me. Hope you understand about me. One more, I really wish for more people to like me, because I really don't have much friend. Good day good luck.

THE SPY NEXT DOOR

There was a man named was Bob Ho ( Jackie chan). He was a chinese spy. He wanted to retired and decided to live next door near his girlfriend (Amber Valletta) house. When his girlfriend ( Gillian) wanted to visit her father in a hospital. Bob was gonna be a babysitter in her house and look after her children. But they were very rude. They didn't want Bob to be there father. Ian ( Will Shadley) download his secret thing in his computer. What was Bob going to do next with the rude children and Russian terrorists ? He needed helps with his spy partners.In the end Russian terrorists went into Gillian's house, Bob wanted to protect them. So they tried to find good ways to killed them together. The story took place in the United States.

My Favourite Piece of Writing

Well this YL15 level is about to end; so fast, isn't it?

We have been doing blog through out the level, but i think there aren't enough because the number of blogs that most of us have written is below ten. Anyway I think my best piece of writing is ' My Favorite Gift ' because it reminds me a lot about my and my best friend's memories, also I've got the most compliments and comments from it. I'll try my best on giving more ideas, details and make the writing structure better. Thanks all to you guys :)

My favorite piece of writing?

To be honest, my favorite piece of writing in this blog is the trip through the forest. The reason that I like this post? When I started writing it, I put all my feelings in it. Also, it is because that I finally realized the true aspects of my life when I wrote it. I realized that I didn't hate my parents that much and I actually love my family deep inside my heart. I also mentioned one of my two fears in it but can you guess it? About my writing? Well, something I tend to do when I write freely is that I write lots of questions. Why? I just don't know but when I write questions, I usually have more ideas come rushing through my head about what I want to write. You can also notice that there quite a few questions in this post already. Something I want to improve? I really want to improve my sensory details description because when I write, I feel that nothing can stop me and it usually carries me away. Another problem is that when I write, read or listen to anything, don't expect me to pay much attention because it's kind of weird but I feel that my soul just drifted out of my body and I am inside of whatever I'm paying attention to. For instance, if I was reading about a war, my mind tells me that I'm exactly in the war and I feel the pain, hear the people scream and cry it's just that I'm in the story. Also, if I read about someone, my mind makes a picture of them and I can feel like seeing them with my own eyes! Oops looks like I drifted off again but I hope that I can improve my writing more.

One Time

We've written alot of topics lately, haven't we? But we don't know yet about what any owner favorite subject of all is. So this week blog is about "My Favorite Blog Of All Time" .

Start with me! Well, my favorite subject is, "It's me, Mickey!", my late introduction. I know my writing is not that good, that long, or that meaningful and my grammar is pretty lame; but I did try from the bottom of my tiny heart. Please understand!

The whole reason why I choose this blog?? Hmm, it's that I love to introduce myself to the whole wide world. Just to tell you, it's not like I want to be the center of attention or anything! It's just that people usually look at me in the wrong way. They would look at me,...and say this girl is a gangster, this girl is rude, this girl is cold, this girl is so childish. On the other hand, the girl that they are gossiping about is just trying to be nice also this girl doesn't get along easily with strangers.

Just to recap the information, "It's me, Mickey!" is always the best writing in my heart because it contain what is me in its' meaning. And also, , why do you want to be the other person? Don't look at yourself so bad, look at the good side of yourself too. This is just an idea but think about it! Farewell!

Behind the 'Love from parents'

I consider my paragraph about ''Love from parents"is my best writing because it's have a good meaning and very touching. It can change young people ways of thinking negative of their parents from bad to good. It help to reduce family conflicts, help family bonding and gaining trust. It also tell about our parent worries about us. We used to think that things we do are good but it's bad like saying bad is good. This paragraph can useful someday. Kung Fu Panda 2

After having a huge hit, Kung Fu Panda, an action, animated, and comedy film has seasoned a whole new and improve Kung Fu Panda 2. Starring Jack Black(Po) Angelina Jolie(Master Tigress) Dustin Hoffman(Master Shifu) Jackie Chan(Master Monkey) Seth Rogen(Master Mantis) Lucy Liu(Master Viper) David Cross(Master Crane) Featuring Gary Oldman(a wicked peacock who uses the power of fireworks as a weapon), Kung Fu Panda 2 have made another hit of over $200 million dollars.

The movie was released in the United States on May 26 2011 which was about a panda named, Po who defeated Tai Lung, a snow leopard who used to dream himself as the Dragon Warrior. Later, Po was become one of the Furious Five including Mantis, Tigress, Monkey, Viper, and himself a chubby giant panda.Upon Shifu's call, Po quickly run to the top of the mountain(which was the birth place of Kung Fu) and showed by Shifu with a technique called '' Inner Peace ''. So on, Master Shifu received a message which said that Master Thundering Rhino(a leader of the protectors of Gongmmen City) has been killed by the evil peacock, Lord Shen. At last, the adventure has begun for Po and his friends to save China from being ruled by Lord Shen. How will they win this war? Will the Inner Peace be the key?

''Jack Black once again shows his excellence as a voice actor'' , ''Po and friends redeem themselves with a terrific third act, the animation (in three distinct styles) is superb and there's enough hiii-YA-ing to keep the kids yipping throughout'' said some of the Kung Fu Panda's fans from RottenTomatoes.

Oh! My Lady

Oh! My lady is a romance comedy Korean drama which was created by Seoul Broadcasting System and broadcasted on SBS channel. It was starring by Choi Si won (as Sung Min Woo), Chae Rim (as Yoon Gae Hwa), Kim Yoo Bin (as the little, Ye Eun) and Bang Joon Seo (as Min Ji). The drama takes place in Seoul, South Korea.

It started when a 35 years old divorced woman, Yoon Gae Hwa just lost her job and took her new job as the house cleaner of a famous top star Sung Min Woo. She worked very hard to earn enough money to regain custody of her daughter, Min Ji, from her ex-husband. Min Woo suddenly found out that he's made his ex-girlfriend pregnant 4years ago and now the mother sent her little daughter, Ye Eun to her dad to raise the illegitimate child by himself. Firstly, he didn't accepted that Ye Eun was his child, till he saw the DNA testing result. As a famous star, Min Woo was facing a difficult charged in taking care of Ye Eun. So, he paid Gae Hwa to take care of his daughter and let Gae Hwa move into his condominium. The romantic and hilarity grew up from day to day...

We are proud of our ancestors,but are they proud of us?

This post is written especially for all Cambodian teenagers.

We, the Cambodians, always say that we are so fortunate to have been born as a Khmer. We are so glad that our ancestors have left us priceless wonders of the world and impress us and also the rest of the world. We love to imagine or tell foreigners of our ancestors' glorious days. Time has passed,we have fallen from one of the most powerful empire to a small, weak country anyone has hardly ever heard of. What have we done to impress our ancestors since the minute they passed away?Have we done enough to amaze the whole world?Will we be able to do so with the next generation?We might not know what they think, we might not hear what they say ,but by looking at what we have done and what we are doing, we may just guess what the answers are.

As teenagers lead the country's future, their problems are the ones to be concerned. Many Cambodian youths now address themselves with Korean or American names rather than Khmer names which is also a part of culture losing issue.Taking in too much of foreign influence also consequently leads to tradition being taken for granted.It is also known that, nowadays people are having contacts with alcohol, sexual images and videos and love at a very young age which often result in educational distraction. Moreover, as a consequence of more possible Internet access, more and more students tend to spend more time surfing than they do for studying.Therefore, when it comes to exams, bribery and cheating come along and this problem causes trust and interest losses in Cambodian educational system. Furthermore, most of youths today also seem to be quite violent. News of students' fighting and even killing are now published on media more frequently than ever before.

I believe that we sometimes think that this is the society we are living in and we have to adjust ourselves into it. Nonetheless, when is it going to be ended? We are the next generation to run Cambodia. Even if we are still teenagers, we can do something to prevent this tragedy from going even further. It is not too late, the Earth is still spinning, and it is time for recoveries for what have made us suffer and it is also the minute we acted if our aim is to impress the spirits of our ancestors and the next generation and especially, ourselves.As mentioned, our country is going up or down depends on us. So, we can together lead our country to a higher level if each of us turn back to our books and focus on studying as soon as you finish reading this post. Please consider everything you do, and think"Am I doing the right thing for Cambodia?"

The 12th century Facebook

The idea of immortalizing images of people has been very popular amongst its the natives that it has been buried in the minds of the Cambodians since ancient times. In fact, our ancestors created the Khmer Facebook system as early as 6th century, and the most famous of them all is all the sandstone wall of the 12th century Angkor Wat temple complex.

This religious site, Angkor Wat, has not only stand as the world's largest temple for almost 1000 years but also as the largest stone computer whose screen holds a number as big as 1800 life-sized Apsara images. Each one of the girls is uniquely different, different hair styles, different faces, different dresses and different movements . Standing in a group or individually in one permanent place and ignoring the rain, wind and heat, these heavenly women attract the attention of thousands of people everyday.

All of them were first believed to be religious figures carved on the temple's wall so as to make the site a real heaven on Earth, full of angels as it was meant to be. However, the belief was changed after the discovery of their names, written beside some of them. This discovery clarified how important they were in the ancient society.They could have been so close to the emperor, ever than we have estimated.Then, critical questions began to appear again such as "why are they all women?" Still, no answer has been clarified to the questions above.

From the 1100s A.D till now, the Apsaras of Angkor Wat are still living immortally on the temple's stone wall , showing their elegant beauty from day to day endlessly.In order to visit them on their Facebook site, go directly to the colossal stone computer and see them on the hard stone screen. They can be observed and even touched. Unfortunately, when you say hello to the girls , they will not reply to you, but stare and smile. But if they did, this would be the most frightening event you would ever experience.

Let's take a journey into this emotional, animated, sci-fi blockbuster.Hundreds of years from now, in the flying Metro city where everyone is in paradise of Technology, lives a genius boy named Tobby, who is a son of a famous scientist, Pro, Tummer. But, soon his life is changed forever and even his name.

The Ministry of Science, where Pro. Tummer works, is holding the demonstration of the Blue positive core and the Red negative core energy and the top secret meeting news leaked to the ears of Tobby. Because of his stubborness and the president evil plans of using the Red core to rule the world, Tobby was killed and left behind his hat and a hair. Pro. Tummer loses his genius boy. Despite being upset, he makes a robot, a advance copy of Tobby by putting the Blue core, but it does not turn out to be exactly the same to Tobby.

Tummer tries to shut everyone's mouth but the the lies doesn't last long. He told the robot Tobby himself. The robot Tobby is hurt because of this and he also is hunted by the president because of the blue core inside him. He runs, to find the place he really belongs to. After that terrible night that he is shot out of Metro city to the surface, he think he has found it. His name is Astro now but soon it turn out that it is not the place.Things get worse and the hunt is still on and this time Metro city shall be destroyed as the despicable president is now with the red core.
Astro can now leave Metro behind to find his place but he just can't do it, because he 's got humanity even if he is a robot. However, if he does go and help, he will die. Now, he has to decide, but he thinks he found his real place and his destiny.

Floodland essay question/"Comment of the Week"

The clearest answer to the Floodland Question came from Siphan!  This is a good model for how to answer this type of question.

Zoe is probably thinking that Dooby wasn't always the psycho,homicidal boy he is. She might think that there was a time when he was just an innocent boy who didn't know much about the world, just like her. And for some reason I agree with Zoe. Dooby wasn't born a psychopath, It was the will to live at any cost and the fight for survival that drove him into this state. If there was an adult to look after him and teach him the difference between right and wrong, there is no doubt in my mind that Dooby could have turned out differently. - Siphan

My only suggestion here is to avoid using psychological terms that cannot be proven (i.e. psycho/psychopath). (If someone really is a psychopath, evidence suggests that they actually may be born that way!)

• Some of you agreed with William making peace, etc. But I didn’t ask you if you agreed with his actions. I asked you if you agreed with his statement about people doing bad things only because of the bad environment. 

• You need to support your answer with examples or reasons.

A School Korean TV Series which was first aired on 03 January,early 2011 on KBS world.This story takes place in Kirin Art High School,Seoul South Korea.There are actually 6 main characters whose name are Go Hye Mi,Hyun Shi Hyuk(Jin Guk),Song Sam Dong,Kim Pil Sook,Jason and Yoon Baek Hee.

The story starts when Go Hye Mi has to live on her own with her little sister after her family's business has been bankrupt and her father runs away from getting bully from a loan shark that he owes that man a large amount of money.Hye Mi who is major Classical Music,is ordered to give up her dream and entering Kirin Art High School to study to be a singer so as to debut and pay off the debt.But things doesn't go well as she expects, she fall at the audition but her best friend ,Yoon Baek Hee passes which cause trouble and they become rivals from that point on.Luckily,she is selected as one of the 3 special students but to be able to join class,she needs to find the other 2,Jin Guk who is a son of a politician but lives on his own and Song Sam Dong who is a country boy which has been hiding his talents from everybody,even his mom.Although they enter the school but things are getting tough for them every single second that they need to Dream High and.......................

A story of a boy, named Jason ( starring by Kane Hodder ), who had found drowned in a river called Crystal Lake, his mother killed all the counselor blaming them for letting him drowned. But, somehow, he came back to life and saw his own mother beheaded by one of the survived counselor. So he only set his mind to kill those who come to this land. Many years later, a group of teenager including Whitney Miller ( the actress who the heroes supposed to save in the end, starring by Amenda Righetti ) come to this land on purpose to camp but they got killed.

A few years after Whitney Miller disappeared, leaving her mother and not even shown up at her funeral, her younger brother Clay Miller ( starring by Jared Padalecki ) have been on the trace to look for her. He met with Jenna ( starring Danielle Panabaker) and her other 5 friends. All the friends were killed by Jason too, but Clay and Jenna found Whitney. Now, how are they going to rescued her from Jason the killer?

This movie was released on October 5, 2004. " This is really a pretty good boxed set and the extras are great. But......
They have really shafted us on part 7. Once again it is the edited video version. The poor quality of the deleted scenes for many of the Friday films is understandable since this is archival footage and was never in the films as they were released. Really, its a miracle that this footage even exists. The restored scenes from Part 1 look great because the
film was released in europe and asia with these scenes intact."; and this was a review from amazon.com. I hope you'll see this movie, it's great, amazing and thrilling. It's the best horror movie! Enjoy it!

The Hangover

It’s MA comedy directed by Todd Phillips that staring Ed Helms, Bradley cooper, Heather Graham and Justin Bartha with Jeffrey Tambor. It’s took place at Caeser Palace in Nevada.

It started 2 days before Doug’s wedding(Justin Bartha) and his friends Stu(Ed Helm) and Phil(Bradley Cooper) decided to throw him a bachelor party in Vegas. Doug asked Alan(Zach Galifianakis) to come along. Before they took off Sid(Jeffey Tambor) give them the keys of his favourite car a Mercedes Benz. They got together and took off when they got to Caeser Palace they decide to take a 30 minute in a 4200$ hotel suite then meet on the roof. They congratulate Doug and have 2 shots of jager. The next morning they woke up in pain and realise Doug is missing, a tiger in the bath, a baby in the closet and the room is a complete diaster. They’re gonna solve trouble that they cause in Las Vegas.Film critic Roger Ebert rated this fil 3.5 stars out of 4 ‘’He said that the funny stuff’’.

Romance Town

Romance Town, a Korean movie which was all about romance and comedy. No Soon Geum who is the main actress, was born in a poor family, in which both of her mother and grandma had been working as maids for their lives long. They didn't want Soon Geum to work as a maid or they didn't want her to have their maid genes. On the other hand, they wanted her to marry to a rich family, so they tried to save up their money just for this teenage girl to go to college and get high degree. However, Soon Geum refused to go to college after she had finished high school.There had been big big argument between Soon Geum and her family.

Soon Geum left her house and started to go to work just to earn money for her spending. Gradually, her friend told her that there's a rich family who wanted a maid, well she went for it and she was hired.

At first it's hard for her to adapt her new living because she had to do lots of thing with the other maid. She had to pleased the handsome, rich guy who's the son of the owner of the house. At first, they didn't get along well, The guy thought that Soon Geum is lazy. But well, as the story goes on, they started to love each other... Would there be obstacles with their love? As one was born in a rich family and another one was born in a maid genes family...

After being fired as the entertainer at a diner in Nevada, Randy is approached by FBI Agent Ernie Rodriguez, George Lopez. It seems that Randy is needed to participate in an underground ping pong tournament to stop the notorious triad boss Feng, Christoper Walken, the very man who killed his father. Randy agrees to help Ernie in hopes of bringing his father's murderer to justice, but first he must relearn the arts of ping pong under the tutelage of Master Wong, James Hong, and his niece Maggie Wong, Maggie Q.

Floodland - Short Essay Question

Please respond to one of these questions about the book Floodland by Marcus Sedgwick.

1. Zoe asks William to go with her to find the mainland, but William refuses.  Zoe says that all the people on Eels Island are bad, that they’ll kill William if he stays.   William says “...they’re just people.  They’re not good or bad.  It’s just that these are bad times, and it makes people do bad things.  I want to help them not to.” (p. 79)

What does William mean by this? Do you agree with him? Why or why not?

2. When Zoe finds a picture of Dooby with his parents, she sees that he looks very different.  “In spite of everything he’d done, Zoe couldn’t hate Dooby completely.  Munchkin was right, they had all had to grow up very fast, and something had been taken from them.” (p. 95)

What does Zoe mean by this? Do you agree with her? Why or why not? 

Post of the Week

This week's highlight is Ati's snowy poem!  Isn't it nice to think of cool weather in this hot season? 

I thought he did a great job of creating the excitement and sounds of winter.  Like this:

Whoosh! Down the sledges from the snowy hills
Snowy day it was, like freezing you could feel
Splat! Hit the faces with snowballs

It was nice how he ended it with a change of seasons, so instead of snowflakes touching the ground, now it's melting snow:

Tok Tok Tok, touching the ground one by one
Came the drops of the snow melt

I appreciate that he was ambitious in trying something new and challenging. Ati, I hope you work on this some more and then share it with more people!

My Surprising Birthday

Ding Ding Ding!!!the school bell was ring.After I heard that,I knew it was the time to go back home.So walked back home slowly & alone.I opened the door.Woof woof,sound from my little dog barked.I smiled and got into the house.I went into the kitchen and "Dook dook"!!!I drank 2 glasses of water while I was looking around my house so I knew that no one here beside me and my little dog."Where are everybody?"I asked myself.Finally I went to my bedroom and took the bath.Then I called to my dad and asked him where he was.He said he couldn't comeback home today.So I had dinner alone.After that I decide to went to the bed early.Tok tok tok...I heard the footsteps in front of my room.Knock!I waked up and looked around my room but everything is silent.Knock!!!Someone was knocking my door gain.I got out of my bed and opened the door.Surprise!My parent were stand in front of me.They clapped their hands and said "Happy Birthday To You,My little girl" "Ahh!!!"I shouted loudly "Today is my birthday.How did I forget it???".They looked at me and hit my head."Ouch"I shouted"It's hurt"."Ha ha ha...my little daughter"they laughed.Click click!sound came from my dad's camera.We took a lot of photos.It was a happy day."Maybe I could sleep well tonight"I thought.He he he :)

It was just a dream...

It was such a beautiful day. The sun was shining kindly on my face, not as burning as usual. Birds were tweeting gently and flowers were blossoming rapidly, it looks completely like a garden in which it was fulfilled with several kinds of living things. Meanwhile, I could hear ' woof-woof ' sound from the distance. The sound became louder and louder, and well now I can tell that the sound was from my dog. This was the true paradise, so I and my dog were just playing in the garden all day long.

The sun was setting down. Well, the view was changed, from the evergreen garden into a golden one. That seemed like it was time for almost every creature to get back to their shelter before it got dark.

' Whao.... ', I was amused. In the city such as Phnom Penh, which CO2 is increasing, it's hard to see the sky clearly at night. I mean at night I can only see a few twinkling star. However, in this garden it was different - no pollution nor bad gases, the sky was so clear that I can see trillions of stars blink blink on my face. I would give up everything just to live in this place...

' BANG! '

' What's that sound? ' I asked myself.

I've just fallen off the bed!

' OUCH! It hurts damn much! ' I yelled.

It was just a dream. It was like a fairytale in which you live there with no worries nor fears. One question, is there such a place on this planet - Earth?

Terrible Experience At The Farm

"Clip-Clop Clip Clop" the sound which i heard while I was travelling on a horse cart. Honk, the horn made and that sound made me realized at my Farm which was miles away from the town centre. It was located just in front of a large and high mountain range,the weather was quite warm I guessed much better than in the city centre and the air was warmly blowing across my face. That was so relaxing......

"Mooooooo",the Brown cow said and the gray dog barked “Woff,Woff”. A large group of ducks shouted “Quack Quack Quack” as soon as I walked in. “Ohhh No ! What are they doing?”whispered silently to myself then I thought “They greet me,huh?”.”Maybe” I said,stepping on a wooden small bridge which leaded to the the house and underneath was small sized river. “Creak”the bridge created that sound,seconds later when I was a bout to walk out of the bridge,“Phew” the bridge broken down immediately. “Argh !” I shouted for a while but I was suddenly stopped by the Croak sound of an ugly dirty frog in the mud.I again shouted “Help!!! I’m stuck in here, Here,under this useless bridge”I could hear his running , A middle aged man who was in charge of the farm.

He came and got me out of the mud and asked softly” Alone here,Son? “ I replied a bit rudely to him” Yeah,of course. I’m grown up,aren’t I?” .He got me out and took me in to the house.I was told to get a bath and after the bath I started chatting along with him and that I decided to stay there for several days. But soon when the darkness joined after the cold dinner ,I realized I regret so much.I didn’t like staying in darkness and here was very dark and the cold wind couldn’t stop blowing that made me feel even more frightened. That may not be the big matter because then the dog started barking,the cat voiced “Meoww”,”Hisssssssss” I gueesed it was a snake . The owl also started hooting scarily,”Ekk” was from the mouses and also the ripple sound like water drops.”CRAOK” the frog voiced loudly which was the sound that I hated the most,”Yuck” I whispered. I tried hard getting myself fall asleep but that sounds interrupted me and as I opened my eyes,I could see something that was............

P.S This story is absolutely Fictional,Nothing is real but I wrote it is real.

P.S.S I Guess this one is a little stupid. But here,i tried to use the Onomatopoeic words. :)

The Christmastide

Achoo...Achoo...Achoo....
The sneezing sound repeated several times while a group of family was having a Christmas carousel. The sound was coming from the youngest little girl who dressed in a cute Christmas costume, a red short dress and a red Santa Clause hat with white fuzzy frill. "Bless you, Dear Lucy!" The mother said as she gave some tissue to her daughter. The family enjoyed their meal as they enjoyed the Christmastime. They chatted and laughed happily. It made the dining area full of laughter and happiness while the snow was falling hard outside the house. Plop...Plop was heard after it hit the grounds, which fulfilled of snow itself.
Suddenly... Ring!!!!!! The doorbell rang. Meanwhile, they also heard a knock at the front door. Knock..Knock..Knock. Again, it repeated. The middle-aged woman, who was Lucy's mom, was on her way to see who knocked at the door. Her high heels hit the wooden floor and made the sound Kip Kop...kip kop..!
The door was widely opened. The woman was in a big surprise as she saw a really big box lying on the front yard. She called everyone to come out and take a look at it. BOOM!!!! It exploded and millions of confetti-es flying out from that big box. A heavyset elderly man with a white beard appeared. "Santa!!" The children yelled out excitedly. "MERRY CHRISTMAS, Kids!" The Santa hugged his dear kids. Yeah, It was Santa Clause, the only person whom the children had been waiting for him in that precious Christmastide. Jingle bell, Jingle bell, Jingle all the way!!!

3 Months A Year 1 Time The Happiness

Touching the ground, one by one

Filling the road with snow in December after the meridian by 1

Whoosh! Down the sledges from the snowy hills

Snowy day it was, like freezing you could feel

Splat! Hit the faces with snowballs

What a fun morning it was for all

All the Haha-ing came from the freezing field

Everyone could play anything at will

Some were snowman-building

With some lick-lick-ing for icicle-licking,

Mountain hike, fishing pike, ride bike

The activities that were very much like

Snow sculptures, with some of the art lovers

Ice skating, Whoove! also bonfire building, snowshoeing

Which what campers were doing

Counting the day to the 25th, telling myths,

Building igloos, making stews,

Digging the paths, Splash! taking hot baths

What a fun-raising season it was, that you could might also laugh

Tok Tok Tok, touching the ground one by one

Came the drops of the snow melt

With light-green leaves on the trees

With the fresh scent of the blossom flowers

Hard for sure, for everyone to forget

Of all the fun times that they felt into

My favorite sound

When I walk pass the musical room everyday in my school,I heard the sound Bing , Ping, Ting...
That sounds make me happy.I wondered where that sounds came from. One day when i walked nearby that room. I heard the sound of the door opened. There was a man at the door. Maybe he was a teacher. I saw inside , There were two students, they were playing Piano. I wish i could play it one day, I think. The teacher played a lot of music like Marching in the snow, Swan lake , sleeping beauty and The Nutcracker composed by Tchaikovsky. That songs seemed famous. If I learn to play piano , I will heard the sound Bing, Ping , Ting... every day. So when I can play it well . I will play it everyday. Perhaps i will be happy everyday. I would like to play the song name Swan lake very much. Because it seems that it show an adventure of people or swan that's why the song named Swan lake. I don't know clearly about that. But I bought a book called Swan Lake . It's Barbie series and I also have DVD. I bought them when I was 7 or 8 years old in the Supermarket. The princess in the movie was really beautiful of her eyes and her lip. Her pretty long blonde hair with a magical pink and blue tiara on her head.She wore a beautiful blue , purple dress when she was in the castle. When she danced at night she wore that kind of dress that i've told you above but it was a short dress for dancing Ballets.When I heard that song I felt like I were in a magical Kingd0m.

Alone in a haunted house

On a rainy night 4 brave men with wired weapon in there hands walk in the mansion . The front gate sqeaked as he being pulled in to the mansion. Bats sqeaking from the mansion door. Old dead trees howling the yard is full of black flowers. As the men being walked in rain drop splashes in the mansion fountain. These men smashes the door and rush in. They start calling out someone’s name ‘bloody mary come out where are you’’. As man 1 screams a woman in white jump on him hit the creaking chair. Then man 3 uses his sabooth stick trying to poke the woman but he miss. The woman hiss at him and fly up and down avoiding the stick until she knock the stick out of the man3’s hand. Man 4 rush to grab man 1 and 3 but he step on a slippery floor and hit a bonging table man 2 rushes to help and he did it the woman hissed and she disappear. The man laugh as they walked out of the house and into the spattering rain.

Hollowed Home Part.1

While outside thunder is roaring and clattering non stop, rain is pattering on the roof an old wooden house, a group of men in their early 30s knocked down the door entered the house. As the door opened it made a eerie creak much like those you would hear in a horror movie, Lloyd, James, Peter and Kevin rushed in hoping to not get any more wet then they already were. As the roaring clattering and pattering showed that it was not going to stop soon, the group decides to take shelter in the old abandoned home and rest for the night. They need all the strength they can get if they are going to make another run for the border. For they had done terrible things, terrible things indeed, and was not expecting what was going to happen to them. As they tried to ignore conscience, they went upstairs to the bedrooms of the house and tried to go to sleep.

Moments later, a loud and ominous screech was heard from the outside followed by screams of pain and torture. The group of men rushed down the stairs and looked out through the dust covered windows. A figure of a tall man was seen outside the house. Then a flash of lighting went off and the man outside was gone. After the sight of this, the group packed their things and tried to head out. But when they tried to open the front door the door knob fell of and they found themselves being trapped inside the house. They tried to break the old house's old wooden door but it was no use. No matter how hard they tried, it was apparent that it was never opening nor breaking. They tried to break the window but every time any damage seems to be inflicted, the window would fix itself as if it was magic. Then a thump at the nearby staircase caught everyone's attention. A round parcel had been dropped from the stairs, attached to it was a short letter. As Lloyd opened the letter he saw that it the words were written in blood. It said ''You'll Never Get Out Of Here''.

The White Silence

Has has ha!... The dining room is full of laughter. Cling! Cling! The spoons keep on hitting the plates but suddenly. Whoosh! Bang! Something really fast pass by and the door swing back hardly. Roar!... A girl with white skin showing her sharp teeth then everyone falls in a deep silence. But just then..., " Ahhhhhhhhhh" everyone shrieking! "Welcome to the party, Vanessa!"; everyone laughs again and it was a beautiful HALLOWEEN night.

Now the horror begin. After the dinner, children go out side, they howl loudly, and go to HUNT for blood red candy.

Post of the Week

Well, I have to choose just one post from last week.  That's not easy - each have their own strengths.

There's Rotha with his great introductory sentence and description of the kangaroo in the tattered hat with short, stubby arms.  Nix has a wonderful story of a blanket that reveals so much about childhood, and how we keep it with us, even when, like a blanket, it's not big enough to cover us anymore.  Monineath wrote a crystal-clear description of a necklace (with excellent grammar, too!).  Pitou got very creative by making his glasses into a person! :)

I also enjoyed reading about Roath's sweet teddy-bear Nina, Siphan's fire-water-wind-earth skateboard for Christmas, Ati's magic box that you can't see in the night, and Tep's backpack that travels (almost) everywhere and carries (almost) everything. Nissa shows us her book of temples, Visal writes about her very important laptop, Sreylen has the best purple pencil ever made, and photographer Mickey's most prized possession is her camera.  And let's not forget Sreylen's homemade lemonade! Bring on the ice cubes!

The post of the week is....  My favorite blanket by ENIX!  You can see from the comments that many people found his blanket story very touching.  Reading the comments was part of my decision, too.

This writing is more than just a simple description of an object. I like how I can read this several times and still find something new to think about.   His post makes me think about my childhood, and how the things I loved as a child might not "fit" me as an adult, but they still mean something, and part of me doesn't want to let go of them.  His love of his blanket is also a love for his mum, I think.  It also makes me think about how hard it is to make that big transition from child to adult.  I've written more comments on his post, which you can read there.

It's surprising what one piece of writing can achieve.   Congratulations Enix!

As for a runner-up - I can't pick just one this time. Monineath, Rotha, and Pitou - you get to share "runner-up" this week, for the reasons I already wrote above!
