My favorite book

In my free time I like reading. I read many kind of books for example adventure story, detective, comedy, history etc. Can guess what kind of book that I like to read? And why I like it?
Of course, I like history books, because I want to know about lives in the past and I also want to know the mysteries of each ancient temple. The book that I love was a gift from a friend of mind gave me last year, it was a thick book covered with red . It's talking about history of ancient temples in the world such as the Temple of Artemis, the Gardens of Babylon, the Great Pyramid, Statue of Zeus, Colossus of Rhodes etc. I enjoy reading that book very much and I will visit all ancient temples in the world one day.

  1. Hi Nissa,
I'm imagining a big, heavy book with lots of gorgeous pictures, the kind of book that will make you dream of faraway lands.

You say "of course," but I didn't know this about you.

I'd like to see a little more of your personality come through your writing. Do you know what I mean? I'm not sure from reading this if you're the romantic type, a dreamer, or a daring adventurer! Maybe you could be a little more descriptive about your dreams of travel, or how it makes you feel when you think of history - is there a certain time you particularly like, and what do you daydream about it? Through these descriptions, we might get to know you a little more :)

suggestion: avoid the word "etc." It weakens the sentence.

I do learn that you like history and temples! I hope you get a chance to visit them, and that you write about them on your own blog someday! Thanks for trying out some questions in the first paragraph. It works - I wanted to keep reading to find out!
